How To Email Links That Won’t Break
If you want to email a link to a client from within your portfolio you’ve got to deal with the fact that a # sign or a long url will break the hyperlink in most email programs. There’s lots of nifty services out there that shorten urls just for this reason but we like http://bit.ly the best. Twitter uses bit.ly but the biggest reason we like it is you can track the number of clicks and you can make a custom name for the shortened url so the client knows to trust it. So, instead of:
